Confucianism & The Analects

Confucianism

Is a Chinese ethical and philosophical system developed from the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius.
It focuses on human morality and wrong action. It is a complex system of moral, social, political, philosophical, and quasi-religious thought that has had tremendous influence on the culture and history of East Asia. It might be considered a state religion of some East Asian countries, because of governmental promotion of Confucian values.

The Analects

I found this very interesting because shows because it teach us how to be happy and how to accomplished peace in our hearts and in our society. My favourite teaching that I found in the Analects is “In teaching, there should be no distinction of classes.” I liked this because; here it says that education should be for everyone. As a Guatemalan I get very identified with this because here in Guatemala, not everyone receives education, and I think that if we want a better country the government should support the education for all the people.
